The Ministry of Municipality and Environment represented by the Department of Protection and Wildlife caught a person for violating some provisions of the environmental laws through social media.
The violator appeared on a video footage where he was using a bird whistle to attract birds and use them for hunting in one of the wild areas. The case was referred to security authorities to take the necessary measures.
The Ministry called on the preservation of the environment and the avoidance of any violations that harm its safety. The Ministry said that it will carry out patrols and will also monitor videos and images shared on social media that include environmental violations. A ministerial decision released on September 10 of 2018 regulated hunting in the wildlife. One of those regulations was the ban of certain hunting devices that attract birds to it in the wild.
