The fifth edition of Color Run presented by Sahtak Awalan: Your Health First, a flagship public health campaign by Weill Cornell Medicine-Qatar (WCM-Q), takes place at the Qatar National Convention Centre (QNCC) on January 26.
The 5km run brings with it the new Hero Tour theme and encourages all Color Runners to unleash their inner super hero.
With the New Year comes resolutions to exercise and have a fresh start. The Color Run will help everyone in Qatar make a commitment to a healthier and happier lifestyle, doing so while having fun and in the most colorful way.
The Color Run is the largest running series in the world, where runners are covered with a different color throughout the course.
It finishes with a super-charged Finish Festival including a DJ, MC and plenty of games and activities for all.
The Color Run 2019 will have a new Hero Tour and asks Color Runners to enter a realm where nothing is impossible, and they are unstoppable! Release your inhibitions and soar high at the new Super Zone or discover the super hero in you the returning Foam Zone. All participants will receive a cape in their race pack and for the first time ever will be given a Medal at the finish line.
The Color Run has made the Happiest 5k accessible to all ages and all fitness levels and raised over $5m globally for Charity since its founding.
Last year’s edition of The Color Run attracted a record-breaking 9,000 participants in Doha and this year’s turnout is expected to bypass that.
