An iconic new stadium is steadily taking shape in the southern city of Al Wakrah. Once it is completed, visitors to this historic port city will be greeted by a venue unlike any other.
The shell of the distinctive roof is already visible. Work on a community market within the precinct surrounding the stadium is also under way.
